alfonsovq asked: Hello! How does Zivity work? Can you get money out of it? Thanks
Zivity is a paysite unlike pretty much every other paysite. They accept your content, but the photographer retains the copyright to their work.
Then unlike other sites such as SG (that either accept your set and pay you, or post your set without paying you while waiting months and months if they want to accept it or reject it) your set is either approved or denied and you immediately begin to earn money based on votes from members.
Each vote is worth $1 and the split is $.15 to zivity, $.30 to the photographer and $.55 to the model.
There are also photography contests where the photographer receives all of the prize money, these are started by both members and the people that run zivity and have been upwards of $1,000.
So yeah there is money to be made. I’m a big fan of the way the site is run, and I really love being able to show my art to a larger fan base without losing my copyright.
Anonymous asked: Would you ever put a print on hold for somebody? I'm genuinely curious. I'm broke as shit right now but in the future I'd really like to own one of your prints.
I wouldn’t have a problem doing it for somebody for a little while
