I’ve gotten lucky on most of my trips when shooting landscapes to experience fantastic sunsets/sunrises and weather. Niagara was basically the opposite, it was hot as all get out and there was barely any clouds, tons of people, and no colorful sunrise to speak of. I even had two kids trying to get me to let them take my picture. I decided to be a jerk and told them no, and that i had better equipment than them anyway.
They kept harassing me though, and eventually we let them take a photo for “practice” and then told me I could go look at them in the visitors center. We didn’t bother
I didn’t have time to stay until sunset, so I tried to make the best of a bad situation. Without a graduated filter, or a polarizers (I travel light) I went with option B and shot this through my sunglasses.
