Well until yesterday, it’d been a while since I’d posted or even edited anything with the fox in it. I haven’t shot it in months now, as I left it back in Harrisburg with pretty much no intention of bringing it back down for photos.
I don’t really think its a necessary part of the photos anymore.
But I think that perhaps this winter I will have to go get it, and attempt to finish up this series. I know this is probably to some of your dismay, but fortunately I don’t really care. My work is for me more than anyone, and I know I need to finish this. As such you will probably/hopefully be seeing many many more men in my photography for the remainder of the series, possibly with the occasional female.
I don’t know when or if I’ll ever be done entirely with it, but I look forward to at least closing up this chapter of it for now.
I went back through a bunch of old files the other day to see if their where any gems I missed the first time through…of course there were. I remember apnea asking me if other people had tried this kind of pose before with the fox, and I remembered one girl having done it, but it was not nearly as compelling an image as this one turned out to be.
